“This was by far the best place I have ever stayed. The surrounding national parks are a stones throw away and for walking, cycling and relaxation the Felin Fach Mill is fantastic. Thanks to Julia and Stuart for such a brilliant time. We will be back very soon for a week so we can really explore.”

CROESO – “WELCOME and CHEERS” - IECHYD DA

We have owned Felin Fach (Velin Vaarch) which means Little Mill since 2000. In 2007 we made some extensive internal and external improvements which made it even more comfortable and homely. We are keen to share our good fortune in owning it with others. It is an ideal choice of accommodation for you to experience complete relaxation and peace, beautiful countryside, a host of indoor and outdoor activities, nature, heritage pursuits and gastronomic delights.

The house, dating from 1820, is stone-built and situated in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. It is located in the idyllic and peaceful wooded valley of the river Tarrell that runs through the property. It retains many of the original watermill features and visitors find it fascinating to try and figure out how it all used to work. It is truly unique. It is in an area of special scientific interest and so you may see mink, kingfishers and otters. What could be more appealing than watching herons on the river from the windows or whilst supping a cool beer and tending the bar-b-q on the patio you watch the river and brown trout swimming in it. It is superbly located for walking, cycling or driving from the doorstep to Pen-y-Fan (6miles away) and all the other Beacons as well as other areas of stunning scenery.
